14 Tips for Solo Female Travel in India
Has any single mature aged woman every visited Hydrabad or Secunderabad on thier own? I have been advised that it will not be safe for me to visit and walk around on my own. Why is there aproblem with this. I am planning to be there for 10 days in july this year.
Please let me know what people think. I do not think there is any major problem at all. I travel solo all over the country, I am 42 years of age, and there are some things I don't do. These rules mostly make sense in many parts of the world:. I would recommend you get a local SIM card, and have a local contact that you can call in any emergency. I usually have lunch at a restaurant outside, and dinner at the hotel where I am staying.
If I do go out for an evening performance or dinner, I usually have a car and driver arranged so that I don't depend on public transport. I agree that the strategies you outlined apply to any travel overseas. I just couldn't understand that it would be any more dangerous in Secunderabad than any where else.
